Battery Capacity Tester Software (BCT 2003)

The BCT 2003 Software is an option for the BaSyTec Battery Capacity Tester. The software runs on each 32bit Microsoft Windows operation system (Win 95, 98, Me, NT 4, 2000, XP) and is connected via a serial interface (RS 232 / V24) with the computer.

The key features are:
- Control buttons (identical to the buttons of the bct hardware)
- It is possible, but not a must, to control the bct hardware by the software The use of the buttons is identical with the hardware buttons of the BCT.
- Online display, identical to the display of the BCT
- Online-graph with voltage and temperature
- Automatic registration of each discharge tests (integrated database)
- Online-graph with voltage and temperature:
- Automatic registration of the measured data:
- Time stamp
- Discharge duration in minutes
- Current, Voltage, Ah

Automatic registration:
- For each discharge test the following data is stored
- Start of test (time stamp)
- End of tests (time stamp)
- Name of the used battery (optional)
- Rated values of the battery: rated voltage, number of cells, rated capacity
- Discharge current (for this test)
- Average temperature (for this test)
- Discharged Ah (for this test)
- Discharged Wh (for this test)
- State (shows for example if the test was manually terminated)

Simple and fast graphing of measured data:
- Display of voltage and temperature curve
- Display of all relevant data of the tests, as Ah, Wh, and average discharge voltage
IWithin the graphic analysing the following functions are available:
- Free formation of the chart (scaling, font size, background colour /bitmap, grid, and other)
- Zooming
- Copying of the graph in the clip-board
- Exporting as bitmap (.bmp) or as Windows metafile (.wmf)
- Exporting of data as ASCII File
- Previewing of the protocol
